Saad Chitpavnicho- Reviving Chitpavni with Ganpule Foundation

Ganpule Foundation, Thane along with mentors Sh. Ashok Nene, Sh. Arati Mone, Sh. Vasudev Damle

A one- week workshop was held online from 4 to 11 November 2023, through Google-Meet, where Sh. Vaibhav Ganpule from Ganpule Foundation led the workshop, later handing the thread to Sh. Ashok Nene Sir, Sh. Arati Tai Mone and Sh. Vasudev Damle Sir.

Spanning over a week, participants were taught nouns and verbs, as well as sentences and soundages. Participants received a certificate of participation. After the conclusion of the workshop, participants were able to converse using basic sentences in Chitpavni.

Thereafter, Shri Vaibhav Ganpule Sir from Ganpule Foundation issued a circular, inviting participants to contribute to the first-ever Chitpavni Anka- Saad Chitpavnicho.

After gathering and compiling various pieces of literatures including articles, idioms, stories and poems, the first edition of Saad Chitpavanicho has been published on 17 February 2024 as an eBook/PDF.

Poems, stories, idioms and thoughts, crosswords, technology, travelling blogs, and history of Chitpavni are various topics being accepted for publcation.

This community harbored around Chitpavni is dedicated and working hard to learn and speak the boli. Daily practice material is provided by Sh. Ashok Nene Sir in a WhatsApp Group where more than 150 members study Chitpavni.
